Daisy Links: a Thrifted Flower in a Plant Shop!

I've said it in posts already, but it needs to be said again: Rexburg is a thrifted clothing lover's dream.

It seems like right now is a great time for people to open their dream business. The weather is warming up and people are tired of being cooped up inside because of COVID and the cold weather. The snow melts, and people begin to walk to the park and enjoy the fun activities that Rexburg has available to everyone.

Y'all may remember my blog post about AA Planthouse, and how they wanted to finally start their dream business here in town. They have been having great success and achievement since they opened, and they really wanted to open up their space to another small business owner. This is where Daisy Links, a very special thrift store dedicated to providing high-quality clothing to customers in order to help protect the environment.

Daisy Links today held their grand opening! While having a strong presence online and on Instagram, owners Malcom and Rosie Kong, the  decided it was time to open a brick-and-mortar storefront here in Rexburg. Sharing their space with AA Planthouse, this location is a small business powerhouse, providing visitors with specialized knowledge about plants and clothing in a one-stop shop!

Offering several racks full of varying clothing, it can be almost guaranteed that you will find something you want here. From dresses and skirts to vintage suit jackets and sweaters, you can definitely find the next token piece in your wardrobe.

Placed around the store are little stations where other local small-businesses can sell their wares. From jewelry to candles, there are so many ways that Daisy Links is helping make a difference in the local business scene. By supporting the people that support them, it can be seen as a somewhat "symbiotic relationship." Help one another and they will help you!

One of my favorite things about my brief visit to Daisy Links was the atmosphere! It felt so cozy and welcoming! With the combination of plants, art and furniture, it is a place that I can only describe as "a serotonin hotspot." The warm, humid air is great for the plants to grow, but provides visitors an escape from the cold. The soft fabrics and sweet smells of candles occupy your senses as you bounce between a Rexburg rainforest and an Idaho ice storm (because the clothes are so cold - sorry y'all, this is me trying to appeal to the younger generation).

Daisy Links is ready to serve you and the whole community of Rexburg. Providing a powerful one-two punch in the form of a clothing/plant shop, you can not go wrong by visiting these spaces. Helping support local businesses can ensure that a family has food on the table and a roof over their head, and it can help you bring some lively colors into your life.
